Procurement Solicitor Grade 9

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Solicitor at Grade 9 to join our legal team, where you will play a crucial role in advising and supporting our organization on a wide range of procurement matters.

In this position, you will leverage your legal expertise to enhance our procurement processes, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and best practices.

As a Procurement Solicitor, you will handle complex contract negotiations, provide strategic advice on procurement policies, and collaborate with various stakeholders to safeguard our interests while promoting effective and fair competition.

You will also have a key role in training and mentoring junior staff, sharing your industry knowledge to elevate the capabilities of our legal team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex legal frameworks.

You will be involved in drafting and reviewing procurement documents, as well as ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and thresholds.

• Advise on all aspects of procurement law and regulations.
• Draft, negotiate, and review procurement contracts and related documents.

• Collaborate with various departments to optimize procurement strategies.

• Qualified solicitor with a relevant legal degree and valid practicing certificate.
• Significant experience in procurement law and contract management.
• Strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal issues and mitigate risks.

Hours Per Week:
15.00 Start Time: 09:00 End Time: 17:00 Pay Per Hour: £50.00 Location: Cardiff, Cardiff County
