Job Description
- Lead and manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights.
- Manage and supervise the accounting team to ensure effective performance.
- Conduct regular financial audits and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organisational goals.
- Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Experience in the industrial or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in financial management and reporting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a finance team effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
