Are you an experienced Care Worker, Support Worker, or Youth Worker in the Blackpool area looking for a new challenge with better, predictable hours?
We are actively seeking compassionate and highly skilled individuals to transfer their expertise from the Care sector into a vital Support Role within a local secondary school, working with students aged 11-16 (Key Stage 3 & 4).
This is a unique opportunity to use your core strengths-Empathy, Resilience, Behaviour Management, and Safeguarding knowledge-to directly support vulnerable young people and help them thrive academically and emotionally.
Competitive Pay: Secure a salary equivalent to up to 500 per week (depending on experience, qualifications, and specific role within the school).
High-Value Transferable Skills: We value your background in Care. The skills you have in Time Management, Crisis De-escalation, Personal Support, and Communication are exactly what our students need.
Meaningful Impact: You will work closely with the Pastoral and SEND teams to provide targeted support, helping students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour re-engage with education.
Local Blackpool Role: Work within your local community, making a difference to young people right here in Blackpool.
We are looking for individuals who can confidently apply their care experience in a secondary school environment:
