Family Paralegal - Newcastle Office

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Family Paralegal to join a highly reputable and friendly Family Law team based in Newcastle. This position offers fantastic hands-on experience and a clear pathway to progress, working alongside specialist lawyers on a wide range of family matters.
The role would suit someone with previous experience in family law, ideally supporting fee earners, preparing court documents and bundles, and engaging with clients and professionals on sensitive matters. Applications are also welcomed from graduates or early-career paralegals who can demonstrate a strong interest in Family Law and a commitment to developing within this field.
Role Responsibilities:
Supporting fee earners on divorce, private children and financial matters
Preparing documents, statements and court bundles
Managing client communication with professionalism and empathy
Attending meetings, conferences and hearings where appropriate
Administrative support including billing and file management
The team handles exclusively private family law work, providing high-quality client service without Legal Aid administration pressures. Fee earners benefit from commercial charge-out rates, supportive case distribution and no six-minute time recording.
