Private Client Senior Associate / Partner - no following necessary

An exciting Senior Private Client role in London. The client is seeking a Private Client Senior Associate or Partner, or a Private Client team, to join the firm as they expand their practice in this area of law. You will be taking over from the current Head of Department, so there will be active files to take over, but this is also a business development initiative. You will oversee a senior Solicitor in London and a junior Solicitor in the Brighton office, and you will be responsible for expanding the department and building a team. They are looking for broad experience and the ability to develop business, although a significant following is not essential for this position.

• Take over from the Head of Department and oversee a senior Solicitor in London and a junior Solicitor in the Brighton office; lead the development and expansion of the Private Client department.
• Drive business development and growth of the practice area.
• Manage matters including wills and tax planning, powers of attorney, court of protection matters, and the administration of estates and trusts.

• Experience in private client work; ideally a STEP member.
• At least 7 years PQE.
• Broad experience with the ability to develop business; a significant following is not essential for this position.
