Recruiting for a permanent strong Chef de partie to work within a hotel in a beautiful location
The right canddiate must be able to drive, work any 5 days over 7 based on a 45 hour week. overtime available and paid for
Must have experience working in a hotel or gastro and have great communication skills and able to work in a small team
Duties include, and are not limited to:
- Assisting in and running any and all sections of the kitchen as directed by the Sous/Head Chef
- Ensuring the necessary preparation in your station is completed in a timely manner and to the highest standard
- Practising excellent waste/stock control
- Cooking effectively, to a consistent high standard, with excellent quality control
- Ensure all areas - not just your own, are kept organised and clean in line with the expectation of the Sous/Head Chef
- Be passionate and proactive - seek to develop yourself in all areas, all the time
- Ensuring all Health & Safety policies and practices are followed at all times
Own transport is essential as the hotel is not served by public transport.
