SEN Teaching Assistant - Harrow

We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TA) to join our welcoming team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners and to play a key role in their educational journey.
SEN TA Role:
- Location: Harrow, London
- Start: September 2025
- Contract: Full-time and part-time positions available
- Pay: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
- Requirements: Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain before starting)
As an SEN TA, you will:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with SEN
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
- Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and emotional well-being
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external specialists to support progress
SEN TA Requirements
- Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
- A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, empathy, and resilience
