Our client, a leader in the metals industry, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their PM shift team. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of product quality and compliance our client is known for.

Key Responsibilities as a Quality Inspector

As a Production Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards before they leave the production line. Your main duties will include:

• Inspecting products on the lines to identify and action defective materials.
• Conducting in process testing to validate production runs.
• Performing inspections on goods inward and managing any despatch queries related to Quality
• Calibrating and maintaining equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Supporting the IMS and participating in internal audits.
• Completing relevant documents and recording data
• Take part and action a variety of testing methods

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this Quality Inspector role, you should have:

• A strong attention to detail
• Ability to identify potential quality issues.
• Excellent computer literacy, numeracy, and writing skills.
• An awareness of health and safety regulations.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience or qualifications related to ISO management systems - 9001
• Knowledge of metal industries and surface treatments
