Group Systems Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is working with an international professional services and technology business, who work with a broad range of markets and is focused on delivering end-to-end operational support. The organisation is private equity-backed and pursuing ambitious global growth. A Group Systems Accountant is being sourced for this newly created position.
With hybrid working available and a market-leading benefits package, this would suit a candidate with proven consolidations experience within a group function.

What will the Group Systems Accountant role involve?

• Manage monthly group consolidations in Cognos Controller, maintain ledgers, FX rates, and month-end timetables, and post group-level journals while ensuring data quality and timely regional submissions.
• Generate and distribute month-end reports, support year-end audits, and provide feedback to regional teams.
• Oversee ERP (e.g., Infor Sun Systems) processes, manage user access, handle support tickets, and coordinate with IT providers.
• Develop and maintain VBA macros, design reporting templates, and transform data for recurring and ad hoc reporting.

Suitable Candidate for the Group Systems Accountant vacancy:

• Advanced Excel skills, including VBA macro development.
• Experience working with the SUN system.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
