Job Summary
As part of our continued growth, Corrigenda is looking for a motivated and skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to become a key member of our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across various sites throughout Surrey and the surrounding areas, providing both planned and reactive maintenance services.
In this role, you'll perform various air conditioning tasks, primarily in commercial environments across the education, public, and private sectors.
We're seeking someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality service efficiently, safely, and fully complies with current regulations and industry standards while exceeding customer expectations.
• Carry out planned and fault diagnostic work to various air conditioning systems and
equipment such as split, VRV and VRF and heat pumps.
• Service air handling units, fan convertors and extractor fans.
• General mechanical repairs and weekly PPM tests.
• Use of Building and Management Systems.
• Work flexible working hours to suit business requirements.
• To collaborate with other engineers and site staff to arrange site access to required.
• Participation of the out of hours call out rota.• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site and general public at all times.
• The role may require you to work at heights to fulfil the role.
• Ability to work effectively on own or as part of team to ensure client contract expectations
are met
• Where required contact suppliers for replacement parts and cost information
• Any other tasks required by the company within skill set/experience
Essential
• Recognised industry standard qualification
• Be able to operate smart devices and to complete electronic documentation
• Ability to set up and programme AC controls
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
• City & Guilds F Gas & ODS Regulations
• City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems
• Recognised Health & Safety training
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
• Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation
• Full UK driving license
• Pass Enhanced DBS background checks for working in schools
