Full-Time Ongoing
Pay .89 per day
Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a small and nurturing Alternative Provision in the Ingleton area, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who may face challenges in mainstream education and help them re-engage with learning in a supportive and structured setting.
About the Role:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support across a range of subjects
- Supporting pupils with a variety of social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Working closely with teachers and support staff to deliver personalised learning plans
- Helping to create a calm, positive classroom environment that promotes progress
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and encouraging personal development
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people (school or care-based settings welcome)
- A calm, patient, and resilient nature
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
- Prior experience in alternative provision or SEN (desirable but not essential)
