An established legal practice based in North London is looking to expand its team with the addition of an experienced Property Paralegal. With a strong local reputation and a busy caseload of residential and commercial property matters, they are seeking a Property Paralegal who can hit the ground running and work independently on a variety of files. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Property Paralegal who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and specialist team environment.

The successful Property Paralegal will be joining a growing department known for its professional yet approachable culture, where high-quality client service is at the forefront of everything they do. This role is ideally suited to a Property Paralegal with at least 2 years' experience handling their own caseload of property transactions from instruction to post-completion.



The Property Paralegal's role

As Property Paralegal, you will support the solicitors and fee earners on a wide range of property matters, including sales and purchases, lease extensions, transfers of equity and re-mortgages. You will also be responsible for progressing your own files under supervision and ensuring deadlines are met efficiently.

You'll liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors, preparing contract packs, carrying out searches, reviewing title documents, and drafting necessary legal documentation.



The Property Paralegal

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Property Paralegal role within a law firm

  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from start to finish

  • Able to manage a caseload with minimal supervision

  • Excellent communication and client care skills

  • Confident using case management systems and working in a busy team

  • Law degree or equivalent legal qualification is preferred
