Software Development Manager, Amazon Business Spain

We are seeking a Software Development Manager who is highly quantitative, demonstrates excellent judgment, and has a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is inventive, pragmatic, and has a proven track record of delivering software effectively. You should have an iterative approach to software development, be capable of simplifying complex problems, and work well with both external and internal teams. This role offers broad exposure to Amazon Business (AB) and career growth opportunities through collaboration with various AB teams.

Key Opportunities:
  • Work alongside senior engineering leadership (PE, Sr. SDE, Sr. Managers) across AB, Prime, and Marketing.
  • Gain experience across multiple product and service portfolios, including buying, selling, customer acquisition, and account management.

Basic Qualifications
  • Knowledge of engineering practices across the full software/hardware/network development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and live operations.
  • Experience managing engineering teams.
  • Experience developing multi-tier web services.
  • Experience collaborating with product and program management teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience communicating requirements and strategies to users, technical teams, and leadership.
  • Experience recruiting, mentoring, and managing software engineers to enhance team effectiveness.
