Job Description

Document Controller / QA - London

Looking for more autonomy in your next role?

Join a respected M&E subcontractor within the construction sector as the go-to Document Controller / QA, and take real ownership of document flow and quality processes on site. This is a site-based, full-time role in London, working on large, high-profile projects with a constantly growing, close-knit contractor that's making its mark across the city.

Most sites are located in East London, with occasional work across other areas of London.

If you're organised, sharp-eyed, and know your way around document control systems, this is your chance to make your mark on a busy, well-run site.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Full control of all site documentation-digital and physical
  • Ensuring everything from minutes to inspection reports ends up in the right place
  • Supporting QA processes-warranties, test reports, certificates
  • Keeping records audit-ready and version-controlled
  • Logging, tracking and maintaining registers and approvals
  • Site-based, working closely with engineers and project leads

Benefits

  • Real autonomy - take ownership of your part of the project
  • Tight-knit, supportive team
  • Strong pipeline of ongoing M&E work
  • Clear role with room to grow your QA knowledge
  • All business travel covered
  • 30,000 - 35,000 package

What We're Looking For

  • Solid document controller experience-industry or system agnostic
  • Experience working with Document Control software
  • Understanding of quality assurance in a construction setting
  • Proactive, organised and confident working onsite
  • Not afraid to chase, double-check or take the lead on your patch
  • Able to travel to sites across London
