Senior Technical Product Manager - Fintech
Introduction to the Team
Private Label Solutions (PLS) is the B2B arm of Expedia Group. We bring Expedia Group's innovative technology and distribution solutions to partners across the world. These businesses include global financial institutions, corporate managed travel, offline travel agents, global travel suppliers (like major airlines) and many more.
We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join one of our teams, responsible for developing technology that helps millions of travellers find the best travel products at the right time for their next unforgettable trip.
In this role, you'll lead highly visible initiatives that expand our Credit and Billing offering across new lines of business . You'll work across multiple engineering teams on the B2B side of Expedia Group, ensuring our financial platforms evolve to support new products and partners. This includes analysing requirements, defining use cases and system interactions, and driving timely, clear communication across functions. You are not only a technology enthusiast but also an expert agile practitioner.
In this role, you will:
Operate as the Agile Product Owner for an agile team, building and owning the product backlog
Be accountable for technical product delivery across cross-functional projects, while driving team velocity
Set the short-term and long-term strategy for your products and evangelise that vision within the organization
Conduct business analysis on proposed improvements to our financial systems, including forecasting, reporting, and measurement planning
Seek and consolidate product feedback to help in the prioritisation of engineering effort and story planning
Facilitate trade-off decisions between investment, schedule, and partner/customer benefit
Build collaborative relationships with engineering, product, and finance teams across different Expedia Group brands
Capture detailed business opportunities and translate them into epics and stories that guide engineering direction
Promote thoughtful, outcome-focused product thinking across the team
Evaluate third-party product capabilities and lead integration efforts where appropriate
Experience and Qualifications:
5-10 years professional experience in a technical domain including engineering, design, and/or coding
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
Experience influencing and aligning with both technical and non-technical teams
Full product lifecycle experience, including UAT, launch, and sunset phases
A proven ability to lead teams through issue resolution and risk management
A strategic mindset with a hands-on ability to deliver
