CTO needed for a leading organisation based in Redhill, Surrey who are looking to employ an experienced, forward thinking CTO to lead the transformation of their legacy technology landscape and establish a modern, scalable, and
secure technology platform that supports their long-term goal.

This role will be instrumental in managing the transition away from legacy systems, introducing new platforms, and shaping the future direction of IT across the organisation.

This role will require 5 days per week in the Redhill office.

Salary: 120,000 - 130,000 per annum

Some of the main duties of the CTO will include:

You will manage both internal teams and external delivery partners, ensuring alignment between technology, operations, and strategic business objectives.
Define and deliver the technology strategy to support modernisation and growth
Lead the phased migration from legacy platforms .NET to modern systems
Introduce best practices across architecture, integration, and security
Oversee end-to-end delivery of major technology transformation initiatives
Manage cross-functional teams through complex change, including cultural and technical shifts
Ensure strong governance, planning, and stakeholder communication
Lead and develop a capable internal tech team, upskilling where needed
Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and delivery partners
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Guide system selection, data architecture, API strategy, cloud adoption, etc
Ensure systems are secure, well-documented, and compliant with industry standards
Drive innovation through automation, analytics, and user-focused tools
Work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to understand needs and priorities
Translate technical strategy into business terms and vice versa

In order to be the successful CTO and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:

You're an inspiring technical leader with a strong track record of building scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms
You bring a deep understanding of both software development and team leadership, and you're ready to play a key role in our executive leadership team
You have experience of successfully guiding the development of software platforms
