Role Overview:
We're seeking an ambitious and driven Construction Recruitment Consultant to join our high-performing team. You'll be responsible for managing and developing your own client portfolio, sourcing skilled candidates, and placing them in temporary and permanent construction roles across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing construction clients
- Identify business opportunities and generate leads through sales calls, networking, and site visits
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role briefing to offer stage
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their suitability
- Write and post job adverts on job boards and social media platforms
- Negotiate terms of business and fees with clients
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in recruitment (ideally construction, trades, or industrial) - desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confidence in a sales environment with a willingness to make cold calls
- Knowledge of the UK construction market - beneficial
- Full UK driving licence - desirable for site visits
