CAD Designer - Slough Area

Global Projects Progression Opportunities Junior or Experienced Designers Considered

Are you a CAD Designer (or recent graduate) looking to develop your skills with AutoCAD, Revit and/or Navisworks?

Do you want to work on high-profile airport projects, including global sites like JFK in New York?

What You Need to Have

  • Some experience or formal training (academic or work-based) with AutoCAD (essential).

  • Exposure to Revit and/or Navisworks (can be from university/college studies if no commercial experience).

  • A foundation understanding of electrical design principles (routing, containment, or similar).

  • Either:

    • A graduate or junior CAD Designer with around 1 year's experience, looking to develop, or

    • An experienced CAD Technician/Designer with a background in electrical design seeking a new challenge.

  • Right to work in the UK and commutable to the Slough area.

The Nice to Haves

  • Prior experience working on airport, logistics, or material handling projects.

  • Hands-on experience with electrical routing and containment design.

  • Working knowledge of BIM standards or 3D coordination.

  • An HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering or Design.



Role Responsibilities

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for electrical ancillaries (cable routing, containment, etc.) for baggage handling systems.

  • Work closely with senior designers and engineers to develop coordinated designs for complex airport infrastructure projects.

  • Support the team in modelling, clash detection, and design reviews using Navisworks and Revit.

  • Assist with project documentation and drawing packages for client approval.

  • Develop your technical expertise through on-the-job training and mentorship.
