Salary: ?14.00 per hour (Day Shift)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Overtime: Paid at x1.5 - lots of overtime available
About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced MIG Welders for a well-established manufacturing company based in Pershore. This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term job security with plenty of overtime available.
The Role:
You will be responsible for welding and fabricating mild steel components for various projects. The work involves welding steel from 1mm up to 20mm thick, producing both light and heavy fabrication products.
Main Duties:
MIG welding of mild steel components (1mm to 20mm thickness)
Working from detailed technical drawings
Setting up and operating welding equipment
Carrying out quality checks to ensure weld accuracy and strength
Supporting fabrication and assembly tasks where needed
Maintaining a safe and organised workspace
Meeting production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
Proven MIG welding experience
Comfortable welding mild steel from 1mm to 20mm thick
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Overhead crane experience is desirable (training can be provided)
A proactive and flexible attitude, with a willingness to work overtime
