We are currently recruiting on behalf of several ambitious secondary schools in Corby, each looking to appoint a committed Science Teacher to join their teams from September 2025. These are full-time roles with the flexibility to offer either permanent contracts or long-term placements, depending on your goals and experience.
Whether your expertise is in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, these roles will provide you with the opportunity to take ownership of your subject area and inspire students through engaging, real-world science teaching.
About the Role:
Teach general Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with A-Level teaching available in some schools for subject specialists
Lead practical investigations and demonstrations that develop students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Use student data and assessment tools to inform lesson planning, intervention strategies, and individual support
Participate in curriculum planning and help shape the direction of Science provision across your department
Involve yourself in enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, eco-projects, science fairs, and academic mentoring
Contribute to school-wide goals around literacy, numeracy, and academic progress
We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in your Science specialism and confidence in teaching across the secondary age range
Ability to plan lessons that challenge, support, and motivate students at a variety of ability levels
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A team-oriented approach with a willingness to contribute to whole-school initiatives
Suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners
