Job Description
Our client is working in the Nuclear and Oil & Gas sectors. They are looking for a Lead/Principal Electrical Engineer for some long-term contracting work. Candidates must be eligible to pass security clearance checks.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical input and review engineering documentation.
- Allocate work and ensure delivery against project plans.
- Ensure compliance with national/international codes and standards.
- Prepare equipment and material requisitions (HV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, motors, etc.).
- Develop installation scopes of work and conduct technical bid assessments.
- HV system design (up to 33kV) & protection systems
- Detailed electrical network design for large plants
- Earthing system design & power system analysis
- Specifying electrical equipment for hazardous areas
