We are working with a number of secondary schools across Kettering who are seeking dedicated and creative English Teachers to join their teams from September 2025. These are full-time positions, with both long-term and permanent roles available depending on your experience and career goals.

Role Responsibilities:
Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with opportunities for KS5 in some schools)
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that foster a love of literature and language
Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback and intervention where necessary
Support the development of key literacy and communication skills
Contribute to the wider English department through curriculum planning and enrichment
Encourage creativity, confidence, and independent learning in every student
Uphold high standards of teaching and behaviour in line with the school's values
Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Confident teaching English across the secondary age range
Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
Excellent classroom management skills and a student-centred approach
Committed to continuous professional development and team collaboration
Suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
