CURRENT SHIFTS AVAILABLE AS OF 21/07
1X Dayshift, 2X Nights and 1X Weekend Dayshift
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the creation of high-performance components for an F1 team, with the potential for temp-to-perm conversion based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay up pre-preg carbon fibre components to exact specifications using moulds and technical drawings
- Work from detailed lay-up books, patterns, and instructions to produce complex composite parts
- Operate within clean room conditions, ensuring minimal contamination and high-quality output
- Follow strict processes for vacuum bagging, debulking, and preparing parts for autoclave curing
- Carry out visual inspections for defects and adhere to all quality assurance protocols
- Maintain excellent cleanliness, organisation, and health & safety standards
- Collaborate with the composite fitting and trimming teams where required
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Composite Laminator in Formula 1 or significant experience in high-level motorsport/aerospace
- Expertise in pre-preg lay-up and cleanroom working environments
- Ability to interpret and follow detailed technical documentation
- Strong eye for detail and commitment to high standards of finish
- Proactive and flexible attitude to work, especially under tight deadlines
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and time management skills
