Blackpool and Fylde College are a leading training provider specialising in apprenticeships and qualifications. They are recognised by all Fylde schools as a direct school provider for TA staff. They will provide the training, support and theoretical knowledge, you need to achieve your Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, equipping you with the essential skills and knowledge for a successful career in education.

The Role:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice in Lytham, you will work as part of a team to support the learning and development of students aged 5-16 years. You'll gain hands-on experience in the classroom while receiving structured training from Pareto to achieve your Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn and build a rewarding career in education across the Fylde Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons in Lytham.
• Providing one-on-one or small group support to students.
• Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment in Lytham.
• Monitoring and recording student progress.
• Supporting student's social and emotional well-being.
• Participating in training sessions and completing coursework with Blackpool and Fylde College.
• Following school policies and procedures, particularly those related to safeguarding.
