The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon is essential to our operations, responsible for keeping vital machinery running at all times. As an RME Technician, you will maintain a variety of equipment and workspaces while adhering to Health and Safety standards. Your role will help ensure colleague safety, reduce machine downtime, and improve our operational environment.

• Perform proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment
• Conduct reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
• Utilize advanced tools to enhance equipment effectiveness
• Maintain compliance with health and safety policies
• Support the development of on-site apprentices
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and implement best practices across EU sites

Based on-site, you will respond promptly to machinery issues, perform planned maintenance, and address breakdowns efficiently. You will investigate problems, implement solutions, and suggest long-term improvements. Working alongside senior colleagues, you will undertake daily maintenance tasks and coordinate with external contractors as needed. The role involves working various shifts to support our sites around the clock, ensuring Amazon's delivery commitments are met.

• Complete Engineering apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering field
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer
• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
• Proficiency in the local language, both spoken and written

• Experience in condition-based monitoring
• Experience working with print and apply machines
• Experience in fault-finding and maintaining conveyor or automation systems
