Key job responsibilities

1. Provide on-shift support for diagnosing and mitigating large-scale network events.
2. Conduct deep dives into incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
3. Enhance detection mechanisms with new alerts.
4. Develop sustainable, repeatable solutions and processes.
5. Troubleshoot recurring issues and collaborate with engineering teams for resolution.
6. Coordinate with deployment teams for operational readiness.
7. Ensure compliance with standards and policies.
8. Create documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials.
9. Troubleshoot device and connectivity issues, including configurations.
10. Automate repetitive tasks with scripts and tools.
11. Contribute to hiring and team development.

Minimum qualifications

• 4+ years experience with internet routing protocols
• 4+ years experience in Linux/Unix environments
• 1+ years experience with scripting in Python, Bash, Shell, or Perl
