We're working with a respected food manufacturing business to find a Materials Handling Manager to lead a busy team of FLT drivers and materials handlers.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring compliance, driving staff performance, and creating a high-performing team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and develop a team of materials handlers and MHE operators.
Ensure full legal and site compliance around MHE, H&S, and operational procedures.
Deliver continuous improvement in team performance through coaching and structured development.
Maintain high standards across MHE usage, site safety, and people management KPIs.
What You'll Need:
Proven team leadership in a logistics, warehouse, or materials handling environment.
Experience managing MHE operations with a strong compliance mindset.
Passion for coaching, developing, and motivating operational teams.
A proactive, safety-first approach with strong communication skills.
