An established environment team is seeking a Senior Landscape Planner to join one of their offices in Bristol, Cambridge, or Birmingham. The team delivers sustainable, high-quality development services on projects across the UK. The Role: Landscape planning plays a key role in project delivery, with strategic landscape analysis informing development principles and helping to shape sustainable design outcomes. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to a variety of landscape planning workstreams, including Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA), Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments (TVIA), landscape appraisals, and greenbelt/greybelt assessments. This role involves working on high-profile projects, some of which include planning appeals and engagement with legal professionals. The team is seeking someone with sound technical expertise, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to delivering quality and sustainable outcomes. Key Skills and Experience: A degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) Proven experience in LVIA, feasibility studies, and landscape planning Strong technical report writing and project delivery skills Experience in sectors such as residential and/or energy development Effective communication, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities A proactive, strategic approach with sound commercial awareness
