Our client, a dynamic and growing international professional services organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a 15 months FTC. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with a strong accounting background and a proactive mindset to contribute to a busy and collaborative finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with monthly management accounts, including journal postings, prepayments, and accruals
- Supporting with inter-company reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Producing monthly cost reports for Directors
- Supporting UK and Ireland payroll processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Managing and resolving budget holder queries in a timely manner
- Reviewing UK and international supplier and expense payment runs
- Assisting in payroll reviews and payment processing for UK and international teams
- Providing support on finance projects as needed
- Offering cover for other team members where necessary
Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in accounting with experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently at all levels
- Proactive team player with a flexible and adaptable approach
- Strong Excel skills
