Exterior Lighting Engineer
Outside IR35 Hybrid Working 35 Hours per Week

Our client is looking for an experienced Exterior Lighting Engineer to deliver lighting systems across specification, testing, integration, and validation phases. The role involves leading design activities, managing suppliers, and ensuring systems meet performance, timing, and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design, testing, and release of lighting systems

• Manage supplier and cross-functional coordination

• Resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement

• Ensure compliance with regulations and engineering standards

Experience & Skills:

• Strong background in automotive lighting design and validation

• Proficient in CATIA V5, optics, injection moulding, and electrical integration

• Knowledge of FuSi, cost/value engineering, and project delivery

• Degree-qualified (or equivalent); German language a plus

• Full UK driving licence; able to travel internationally
