Also, providing cloud support and interacting with developers, clients to improve existing cloud solutions at scale at optimal cost. Maintain uninterrupted operations from the beginning to the end of a software's life cycle and work with relevant teams to deliver stable, resilient system with innovative alerting and monitoring, and forward-thinking capacity planning built into the design. With a clear understanding of roadmaps and longer-term strategic business goals - provide technical direction and leadership towards the delivery of excellent quality and sustainable software - minimizing technical debt. Ensure that SRE standards and processes are implemented and chip in actively to their continuous improvement, including proactive solutions for system monitoring, process change, testing, and analysis Provide recommendations and operational guidance, define, and automate the validation of Non-functional requirements, Service Level Objectives, Service Level Indicators, including all requirements to ensure the solution is fully compatible with Sky's standards and policies Build automated operational solutions to drive efficiency, including automated testing and release procedures that are continually enhanced and ensure manual processes are automated Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality. What you'll bring Great communications skills with the ability to actively engage and build strong relationships with business partners, AdTech Engineers, Scrums, Project Managers, Vendors and Media partners - supporting with the planning and estimation phases of roadmap items; providing technical guidance where required. Strong leadership skills and ethics with the ability to mentor senior level analyst and optimally delegate and empower others with regards to technical delivery. Be a forward-thinker through evaluating new technologies, contribution to tribes, squads, and chapter meetings along with advocating the creation of technical documentation to encourage and promote knowledge sharing. Proven experience in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong Analysis background with ability to Analyze data in support of proposed projects, business cases, and system requirements. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline code branching, promotion tools and have intermediate code promotions skills. Experience of working within an Agile environment following Agile development practices and familiarity with Agile service management within a DevOps culture with a desire to promote the DevOps approach within the team. Also, have an expertise in building automated solutions, and the attitude to reduce toil. A technical background with experience of working with SQL, building scripts in UNIX shell, Perl, Python, or similar scripting languages. Expertise in Amazon AWS Cloud Administration which includes services like: EC2, Lambda, S3, AWS Elemental technologies, VPC, ELB, RDS (Dynamo DB/MY SQL) , IAM, Route 53, Auto scaling, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Cloud Formation and Security Groups and Expertise in Google Cloud technologies like cloud functions, app engine, compute engine, cloud storage, fire store, BIG query, Machine learning and GKE Familiarity with other cloud technologies like Kubernetes, docker, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, AWS, Azure DevOps, Composer, DAG airflow; Hand on experience on developing and implementing Perl, SHELL, BASH, Python and Golang , SQL and UNIX scripts. Working within the Platform Operations team as a Lead Site Reliability Engineer, your primary role is to bridge the gap between operations staff and developer teams, aiming to expedite developments while retaining core resiliency.
