We are currently seeking qualified and passionate Teacher's to join a wonderful SEND school in Southgate. We are looking to hear from teachers from both Primary or Secondary background and we also have opportunities for teachers who have a passion for a particular subject (including Science, PE, English or Music).
Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Southgate
Hours: Full time
Schedule: Monday to Friday
The role:
As SEN Teacher you will:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons as a SEND Class Teacher to pupils with SEND, ensuring an inclusive and personalised approach to learning.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that supports emotional and academic growth.
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and support staff to develop individual learning plans and EHCP targets.
- Champion inclusive education, adapting strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- You'll never be the only adult in the room, with a stable, skilled team of therapists, support staff, and leaders who genuinely listen, you'll be part of a system that shares responsibility.
Requirments:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required
Experience teaching in a primary or secondary school setting
Understanding or experience working with children with complex needs including autism, learning disabilities, and SEMH needs
Ability to engage and inspire students with diverse learning needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
Resilience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable students
