Aspire People is currently recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in East London for a dedicated Math Teacher to join their team from September. This full-time position is ideal for both experienced teachers and enthusiastic ECTs looking to grow their careers in a supportive and ambitious school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Create a stimulating and engaging classroom environment that fosters a passion for mathematics and encourages analytical thinking
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with departmental and school policies
Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN or EAL
Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and departmental resources
Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour in accordance with the school's policies
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and enrichment opportunities
Engage in continuous professional development and collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive, reflective, and inclusive approach to teaching
A commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of young people
