What to Expect:

No two days are the same! One day, you might be going swimming, and the next, helping with homework all while mentoring and guiding young people in their daily lives.

  • Shift Pattern: Includes sleep-ins and flexible shifts across 7 days a week. Shifts may start at 10 AM, include a sleep-in, and finish at 10:30 AM the next day, or run from 10 AM to 10:30 PM. Please apply only if you have unrestricted working hours.
  • Leadership & Guidance: Lead shifts, ensure legislative guidelines are met, and keep the safety and welfare of young people at the heart of everything you do.

What We re Looking For:

  • Experience in children s residential services
  • A Diploma Level 3 (or equivalent qualification)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude

Salary & Benefits:

  • Starting salary: £27,939 £31,904 per annum (dependent on experience/qualifications)
  • Additional sleep-in payments: £60 per sleep-in (average of 7 per month)
  • 30 days annual leave
