Assembly Production Operative

A specialist manufacturer in Abingdon is looking for an experienced assembler with wiring and soldering experience to join their growing production team.

This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in mechanical and electrical assembly, who is also confident working alone or as part of the team in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out wiring of systems and products using electrical drawings and technical instructions

Participate in the mechanical assembly of components and full systems

Fostering a positive and productive work environment

Identify areas for improvement, and liaise with supervisors to resolve issues

Ensure all health, safety, and quality control procedures are followed

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in an assembly role, with strong wiring and hand soldering skills

Comfortable using hand tools and power tools

Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment

Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions

Effective communicator, able to coordinate across departments and with senior management

Proactive, organised.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced production assembler looking to join a company that values precision, collaboration, high-quality work and it's staff.

Salary offered is between 24,500 - 26k depending on experience, a quarterly company performance bonus, 25 days holiday, pension, hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.
