Mechanic

Our client is a well-established and reputable garage in Loughborough, offering top-quality automotive services to our valued customers. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Pay Rate - £32k-£35k

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults and mechanical issues
• Conduct routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including engine diagnostics, brake systems, exhaust systems, and suspension
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards, in compliance with safety regulations
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines, providing excellent customer service
• Keep accurate records of all work completed, including parts used and time spent
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workshop operations

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repairs
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving license (preferably with no major endorsements)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude
