Senior Finance Analyst - FMCG

Cedar is partnering with a global consumer goods business in their search for a Senior Finance Analyst. The business is seeking a highly analytical and proactive individual to join their team as a Finance Business Partner. This role will focus on driving value through financial insights and ensuring robust cost management.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance budgeting and forecasting models
• Support the annual budgeting process, ensuring stakeholder alignment
• Build strong cross-functional relationships across Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams
• Support ad-hoc projects and financial analysis as required
• Own specific month-end closing tasks, overseeing and controlling a multi-million-euro cost base
• Provide month-end, quarterly, and annual commentary on operational performance
• Build business cases for capital investments and conduct post-completion reviews
• Identify cost inefficiencies and work with stakeholders to drive profitability
• Strengthen financial controls and procedures

Our client is seeking a candidate with the below profile.

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalen
• A finance professional with a keen interest in operational and commercial finance
• Experience in audit, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), commercial finance, or business partnering
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from large data sets.
• A confident communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
