As a Service Charge Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing service charge accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review service charge budgets and reconciliations.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure accurate allocation of costs.
- Collaborate with property managers and stakeholders to resolve queries.
- Maintain financial records and prepare monthly and annual reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service Charge Accountant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of service charge accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (preferred).
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
