Position Overview: We are looking for a Surveyor to join the Affordable Housing team within our UK Residential Value and Risk Advisory business. The Affordable Housing team needs a Surveyor in a replacement role on the investment valuation side of the team. Busy, growing, and very successful in our market, the team needs a valuer who can learn quickly to support complex portfolio and development valuations of social housing throughout the country and provide an excellent level of service to our existing clients. Social housing experience is not a prerequisite for the role but would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support complex portfolio and development valuations of social housing.
  2. Provide excellent service to existing clients.
  3. Manage small projects with large amounts of data.
  4. Liaise with clients, both lenders and investors.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • MRICS qualification (essential).
  • RICS Registered Valuer.
  • Full clean driving license with own car preferable.
  • Experience in the valuation of property assets using DCF, either residential property or other asset classes.
  • Fluent user of MS Excel, including data analysis and handling large amounts of data.
  • Excellent written English, with the ability to produce high-quality, accurate valuation reports in MS Word with good attention to detail.
  • Project management experience with supporting client relationships and instructions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • Strong work ethic, with a demonstrable commitment to client service.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Flexible, team player.
