Key Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with the fleet team, senior management, and wider stakeholders to understand current challenges and opportunities within the fleet service, advising key points to the Assistant Director Environment.
2. Service Restructure: Advise and help inform a restructure of the fleet service.
3. Team Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the fleet team and workshop staff.
4. Compliance and Safety: Support O-License holders and ensure health and safety compliance for all drivers.
5. Vehicle Replacement Plan: Develop and manage an ongoing vehicle replacement plan, including budgeting.
6. Fleet Decarbonisation: Create and implement a fleet decarbonisation plan.
7. Savings Initiatives: Support and implement savings initiatives.
8. Pool Cars and Workshops: Manage pool cars and vehicle workshops.
