Salaried GP Rate - Salary Range £80,721 - £120,344 per annum (pro rata)

(inc of 2% local supplement)

Distant Island Allowance of £2,380 per annum (pro rata)

Your Role

• Lead service transformation, workforce planning, and integration across community health services.
• Champion sustainable healthcare models, ensuring strong governance and service quality.
• Develop collaboration between clinicians and non-clinicians, place-based teams, community services, and the wider NHS Shetland team.
• Provide strategic medical leadership to help shape the future of primary care in Shetland.

Who We're Looking For

• GMC Registration with a License to Practice (General Practice).
• A passion for leading service improvement in primary and community care and an interest in rural health.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with multidisciplinary teams.
• The ability to drive change and influence strategy in a rural healthcare setting.
