My client is a Nationwide planning consultancy firm looking for a Planner/Senior Planner to join their Strategic Planning team at their flagship London offices. This is an opportunity to work with a company that advises in planning, built heritage, townscape, archaeology, design, economics, engagement, impact management, landscape, and transport.

In this role, you'll be involved in various planning projects, assisting with documents and briefings, and managing projects of different scales.

1. Promoting large-scale developments through the Local Development Framework and Development Management System
2. Developing client relationships and assisting in generating new work
3. Coordinating project teams and project management
4. Conducting research and site appraisals
5. Preparing and negotiating planning applications
6. Policy representations and planning appeal assistance
7. Undertaking site visits, reviewing planning histories, policy, and guidance
8. Maintaining planning programmes and stakeholder engagement strategies

1. Relevant planning degree
2. 3 years of strategic planning professional experience
3. Commercially minded, preferably with private sector experience
