Class 1 Hgv Driver

TLP are looking for a experienced Class 1 HGV Driver with a passion for nightshift work and a strong background in container transport?

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team in Portsmouth on a part-time/ad-hoc basis. This role will involve night shifts, typically 2-5 shifts per week, delivering containers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload containers accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including CPC and Tachograph regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Work effectively as part of a team.

Essential Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 HGV driving licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 HGV driving experience.
• Proven experience in container transport.
