Teaching Assistant (SEN/D) at Yew Tree Primary Academy

The Supply Register is excited to partner with the Wade Deacon Trust, including Yew Tree Primary Academy, to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant. We are seeking someone with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEN/D) on a 1:1 basis to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized 1:1 support to a student with SEN/D, ensuring they can reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with the SENCo to implement tailored strategies and interventions that support the student s development.
• Assist the Class Teacher in fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

• Proven experience supporting students with additional needs, ideally in a school setting.
• A valid DBS check on the Update Service.
• Availability to work during school hours, Monday to Friday.
