We are looking for an individual to undertake RICS level 3 compliant dwelling assessments in line with PAS2035 standards, as part of Orbits multimillion pound Net Zero Carbon retrofit programme. The Dwelling Assessor will assess the current condition of our properties to undertake dwelling assessments and lodge these through an accredited body. As a Dwelling Assessor you will be collecting data on aspects of the property relating to all retrofit work including the functionality and durability of buildings, energy efficiency and the environmental impact of buildings. Carry out RICS level 3 residential building surveys Provide detailed advice on the form of construction and materials used as well as condition Describe the identifiable risk of potential or hidden defects, proposing the most probable cause(s) of the defects based on the inspection Identify any potential legal issues found whilst conducting the building survey Produce accurate and comprehensive condition-based reports based on the findings of the survey. Carry out a dynamic Housing Health and Safety Rating System Assessments and to ensure any risks or issues that are identified are recorded and reported to the Repairs Team or Property Management Team Working with Carbon and Operations team to ensure a consistent approach to the assessment process and ensure we always strive to ensure the highest quality surveys. What will help you make a difference. A knowledge of environmental and property legislation, focusing on housing is essential.
