We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers who would like to work on a long-term ongoing basis exclusively through Taskmaster for United Utilities operating out of their sites at Carlisle and Penrith. This company is the North West's most prestigious utilities organisation and keep the taps flowing and the toilets flushing for 3 million homes and 200,000 businesses across the region. The beauty of these jobs is you will know exactly what time you will start and more importantly what time you will finish every day!

The position will suit someone seeking flexible work looking for between 3 and 5 shifts per week (possibly someone looking to take semi-retirement or wanting to achieve a better work/life balance). Normal working patterns are days Monday to Friday with early starts but you might sometimes be asked to work weekends so you will need to be flexible in terms of working availability.

The work on this highly sought after contract involves driving an Articulated HGV Class 1 Vehicle and the operation of a Class 1 Vac Tank. A full paid induction and training will be given. Normal working patterns are days Monday to Friday starting at 05:00 but you might sometimes be asked to work weekends so you will need to be flexible in terms of working availability.

Rates

Basic £14.56 per hour

Saturday £21.83 per hour

Sundays £29.11 per hour

Bank Holidays £43.67 per hour
