Direct market research to understand current and future disease trends including epidemiology, market dynamics, patient segmentation, treatment paradigm, patient journey, unmet medical needs, competition, market access and pricing environment; lead the development of target product profiles (TPP), brand positioning, partner with Market Access to define the value proposition, pricing assumptions; develop forecasting assumptions and revenues projections in close collaborating with the Forecasting team. Generate required data and insights to support robust assessments. Liaise extensively with internal and external experts to evaluate products, pathways, and treatment approaches Translate key insights from scientific experts (internal R&D colleagues + external opinion leaders) into clear, actionable strategies for the franchise Support the execution of the business development strategies, by providing commercial leadership and leading commercial assessments of external opportunities (Business Development, M&A), from identification & triage of opportunities, business case development, due diligence, to deal negotiation, financial modeling and contracting. Drive the development and articulation of the TA and Franchise strategy through the Therapeutic Area Strategy (TAS) and Disease Area Strategy (DAS) annual process. Lead the commercial assessment and support the technical and financial assessments for the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Spearhead ad-hoc strategic initiatives to identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities and develop actionable recommendations to advance the portfolio and the grow the business (e.g. portfolio management strategy, new indications, etc ). Contribute to expanding capabilities and building a portfolio of cutting-edge geneti-c therapies for RBD patients.
