Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing snagging and finishing work on residential properties based in Heybridge CM9. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and drywall installation Assist with installation of fixtures, appliances, and equipment as required Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition for optimal performance Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently Collaborate with property managers or clients to prioritize urgent repairs Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and parts used Support renovation projects by preparing work areas and assisting skilled tradespeople Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after repairs Experience Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role Skilled in multiple trades such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, or painting Knowledge of safety procedures and building regulations Ability to diagnose issues accurately and execute effective solutions Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Valid driver s license preferred for travel between sites If you are interested in the role, please apply or call us on (phone number removed).
