The Role As a Mobile Coded Welder, you will be responsible for Carrying out MMA, MIG and Stick welding on quarry and heavy plant equipment Structural repairs on crushers, conveyors, hoppers and fixed plant Fabrication and repair work on heavy industrial machinery Travelling between multiple quarry sites across the South West Working independently to diagnose, repair and complete high-quality welds Supporting planned maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures The Candidate We are looking for someone with Proven experience as a coded welder within a quarry, heavy plant or similar environment Strong background working on crushers, screens, conveyors or heavy fabrication Relevant welding codes (MMA, MIG and Stick essential, TIG beneficial) Experience working in a mobile or multi-site role Ability to read engineering drawings and work independently Strong understanding of health and safety in quarry or industrial environments Experience working within a quarry maintenance contractor environment is highly desirable.
