Lettings & Portfolio Growth Manager Location: Manchester City Centre Salary: 30,000- 32,000 basic + commission & profit share OTE: Circa 53,000+ in year one Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm Working Pattern: Office based, 5 days per week UK Staffing Group is recruiting for a Lettings & Portfolio Growth Manager to join an established and growing property investment business in Manchester city centre. This isn't a traditional Property Manager role. We're looking for someone who knows lettings inside out but also has the commercial ability and confidence to grow a portfolio, win landlord instructions and build strong relationships with property investors . The business already has around 155 properties under management and, importantly, an established property investment operation generating a regular flow of landlords and investors. You won't be expected to build a pipeline from scratch - the opportunity is to convert more of that existing activity into managed properties and help develop the lettings side of the business. The Opportunity You'll work closely with the business owner and have genuine freedom to shape how the lettings operation develops. Back-office property management is supported externally, meaning your focus can be much more commercial - developing landlord relationships, converting opportunities, increasing recurring income and identifying ways to improve and grow the portfolio. This would suit somebody who wants more ownership than a traditional lettings role can offer and likes the idea of helping build something rather than simply maintaining what is already there. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow the existing managed property portfolio. Convert existing investor and landlord opportunities into managed instructions. Build strong, long-term relationships with landlords and property investors. Understand individual investors' objectives and provide commercially sound lettings advice. Identify opportunities to increase recurring lettings revenue. Work closely with the property investment/sales team to maximise existing opportunities. Review existing processes and suggest improvements. Take ownership of the commercial performance and growth of the lettings operation. Work closely with external property-management support to ensure a strong overall service. About You We're looking for someone with approximately 3+ years' experience within lettings/property who combines strong industry knowledge with a genuinely commercial mindset. You could currently be working as a Lettings Manager, Senior Lettings Negotiator, Lettings Valuer, Lettings Business Development Manager, Landlord Acquisition Manager, Assistant/Branch Manager or in a portfolio role with a strong business-development element. You'll need to be: Experienced within residential lettings/property. Confident winning and converting new landlord business. Comfortable dealing directly with landlords and experienced property investors. Commercially minded and able to understand how a managed portfolio generates revenue. A strong communicator who can adapt their approach to different clients. Proactive, ambitious and comfortable taking ownership. Confident enough to challenge existing thinking and suggest better ways of doing things. Able to work independently without needing constant direction. A full UK driving licence holder. ARLA/Propertymark Level 3 would be advantageous but isn't essential. What's On Offer 30,000- 32,000 basic salary. Circa 53,000+ realistic OTE in year one . Flat fee for each new managed property. Monthly profit share linked to lettings income. Existing portfolio and investor pipeline to work from. 23 days' holiday plus bank holidays. Pension. Company mobile phone and laptop. Pool car for business travel. Significant autonomy and scope to shape the role. Genuine progression as the lettings operation grows. If you're an experienced lettings professional who enjoys the commercial side of property, winning business and developing landlord relationships , this offers considerably more scope than a conventional portfolio-management position. Apply now for immediate consideration. Finance Administrator Location: Salford Contract: 4 Month Temporary Contract Hours: Monday-Thursday 9.00am-5.30pm, Friday 9.00am-4.00pm We're recruiting for an experienced Finance Administrator to join an established media business based in Salford. This is a hands-on temporary role for somebody who understands finance processes but is also confident dealing directly with suppliers. You'll be joining a busy environment where a high volume of suppliers are used across different projects, so keeping on top of information, invoices, payments and queries is critical. The Opportunity This isn't a role where you'll spend the whole day behind a spreadsheet. You'll provide day-to-day finance administration while acting as an important point of contact for suppliers. When somebody has a payment query, you'll take ownership, investigate what has happened and work with the relevant teams to get it resolved. There is a real customer service element to the position, so how you communicate is just as important as your finance experience. Key Responsibilities Managing supplier and payment queries Investigating outstanding or delayed payments Supporting supplier onboarding and administration Liaising with internal finance and operational teams Speaking directly with suppliers by telephone and email Resolving invoice and payment queries Maintaining accurate supplier and financial information Following issues through from initial query to resolution Providing general finance administration support to the wider business About You You'll have previous experience within finance administration, accounts, accounts payable, purchase ledger, credit control or a similar finance environment. You'll understand invoice and payment processes and be comfortable picking up new systems quickly. Just as importantly, you'll be confident dealing with people. You need to be comfortable picking up the phone when there's an issue, having potentially difficult conversations and keeping suppliers informed. You'll be able to challenge when necessary without damaging relationships and will take ownership of problems rather than simply passing them elsewhere. We're looking for somebody organised, proactive and personable who can come into the business and make an impact quickly. You'll ideally be available to start at short notice and able to work from the Salford office UK Staffing Group operates as an employment agency and employment business. We are committed to equal opportunities and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates.
